About The Position

The Store Planner position at Lowe's involves overseeing all interior store planning and layout activities under the guidance of the Sr. Manager of Store Planning. Responsibilities include creating store-specific floor plans for new stores, remodels, and merchandising resets, while maximizing space productivity and improving customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Retail design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, approve, coordinate, and implement all assigned projects related to store planning.
• Create store-specific floor plans for new stores, remodels, and merchandising resets.
• Manage projects from conception through construction and implementation phases.
• Develop unbiased store designs based on space allocation criteria and design intent.
• Document design guidelines and CAD standards, ensuring compliance with ADA guidelines and existing building conditions.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, construction, and other Store Environment associates throughout project development.
• Maintain accurate numerical data on all projects and understand the financial impacts of design decisions.
• Communicate project details throughout the project lifecycle and obtain leadership alignment.
• Train and mentor peers and new hires.
