Requirements

A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
5+ years of experience in an advanced analytics role
3+ years of experience using statistical software (e.g., SitesPlus, Locus, SAS, SPSS, R, spatial models)
Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and advanced analytics techniques (e.g., logistic / linear regression modeling, clustering, sampling, decision trees)
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., MicroStrategy)
Advanced computer skills, including MS Office
Strong analytical and project management skills
Strong verbal / written communication and presentation skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Personal leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; attention to detail
Ability to work complex issues with senior management
Ability to influence different audiences
Initiative; willingness to take risks
Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment
Travel by car or plane with overnight stays
Work extended hours; sit for extended periods

Nice To Haves

Experience with Alteryx or similar software is preferred
Working knowledge of ESRI or a similar GIS program is preferred

Responsibilities

Supports our real estate program and new store pipeline
Sales forecasting for new stores, expansions, remodels, competitive impacts
Working knowledge of ESRI or a similar GIS program is preferred
Takes technical lead on specific advanced analytics projects (e.g., predictive modeling, customer segmentation)
Independently develops / delivers analytical solutions that meet business needs
Mentors / develops less experienced analysts
