About The Position

As a Sr. StarFire Network Receivers & Positioning Engineer for JD Intelligent Solutions Group located in Torrance, CA, you will engage with other StarFire Network and Deere teams to ensure delivery of StarFire correction service with 99.999% uptime target. You will configure, install and maintain the infrastructure by carrying out installation and maintenance on GNSS reference stations and infrastructure worldwide as required. Additionally, you will monitor, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues at StarFire GNSS reference stations, lead, enforce and create documented processes and procedures, serve as a technical resource for multi-functional project teams, and provide off-business hour support while participating in on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Ability to present technical designs, solutions and point of view in discussions
• Ability to travel domestic and international up to 30%
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Desire to gain further knowledge and experience in GNSS technologies
• 3+ years of experience with GNSS receivers and technologies/satellites

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Cisco Networking Equipment (Routers, Switches and LAN/WAN technologies)
• Experience with Linux/Unix Operating System
