As a Senior Staff Network Engineer, you will be a key member of our IT infrastructure team, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud-based network architecture. Leveraging your expertise in cloud networking technologies, you will ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud network infrastructure while supporting the seamless integration of cloud services with our on-premises systems. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CCNP Cloud, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
• 6 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on cloud networking and infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud networking concepts and technologies, including VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, and load balancers.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP, including proficiency in cloud networking services and features.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and best practices in a cloud environment.
• Experience with network automation and orchestration tools, infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex cloud network issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based network solutions on platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop network architecture plans and strategies to support the organization's cloud initiatives and business objectives.
• Implement best practices for network segmentation, routing, and traffic optimization in a cloud environment.
• Implement robust security controls and measures to protect cloud-based network resources and data from unauthorized access, breaches, and cyber threats.
• Configure and manage network security groups, access control lists (ACLs), and encryption protocols to enforce data privacy and compliance requirements.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation strategies.
• Configure and manage cloud networking services, such as virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, load balancers, and content delivery networks (CDNs).
• Optimize network performance and reliability by leveraging cloud-native services and features, such as auto-scaling, traffic routing, and global load balancing.
• Implement hybrid cloud connectivity solutions, including VPNs, direct connections, and inter-region peering.
• Develop automation scripts and templates using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to streamline network provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to enable scalable and repeatable deployments of cloud network resources.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate network automation into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Monitor cloud network performance metrics and analyze traffic patterns to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
• Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively detect and respond to network anomalies, performance degradation, and security incidents.
• Conduct capacity planning and scaling activities to ensure the scalability and elasticity of cloud network resources.
