About The Position

TekPro Support Services, LLC is seeking a Sr. Staff Consultant to support our ongoing mission in El Segundo, CA. This role requires an Active/Interim Secret Clearance.

Requirements

• Active/Interim Secret clearance
• BA or BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Federal GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards
• Good communication skills to coordinate issues with internal/external staff and stakeholders
• Local to Los Angeles area preferred - Available for travel to Los Angeles SFB (El Segundo, CA) for monthly All Calls and annual formal classroom training and business process walk-throughs

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with audit readiness (FIAR) preferred
• Consulting experience around audit and accounting

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal sampling and testing of assessable units (Mechanization of Contract Administration Services (MOCAS) Vendor Pay, Reimbursable Budget Authority Execution - Grantor (RBAE-G), Target Load Sheet Realignments (TLS), Temporary Duty (TDY), Government Purchase Card (GPC), Dormant Account Review - Quarterly (DAR-Q). Develop recommended corrective action plans based on findings.
• Conduct formal classroom training, perform business process walkthroughs, update business process narratives, and respond to Provided-By-Client (PBC) requests from our external auditor.
