About The Position

They are seeking a Sr. Staff Accountant to join their team. This role plays an integral part in supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting within a fast‑paced, collaborative, and technology‑enabled environment. EOE Responsibilities In this position, you will take ownership of core accounting activities for a diverse client base, leveraging Sage Intacct to execute and streamline day to day transactional accounting while leading month end and year end close processes.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of accounting experience
• strong knowledge of transactional accounting and month‑end and year‑end close
• detail‑oriented, adaptable, self‑motivated, and highly communicative
• ability to manage priorities across multiple clients in a fully remote, team‑based environment
• Proficiency in Excel

Nice To Haves

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• experience with Sage Intacct
• experience with tools such as Expensify, Salesforce, or automated AP solutions

Responsibilities

• performing bank and account reconciliations (prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assets)
• maintaining general ledger accuracy
• preparing journal entries with supporting documentation
• overseeing AP/AR workflows to ensure correct coding, recording accruals, and resolving complex accounting issues
• ensuring financial data is complete and accurate within a cloud based accounting system
• assisting with financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and process improvements that enhance efficiency through effective use of accounting technology and internal controls
• independently manage priorities while maintaining consistent communication with clients and internal stakeholders
