Sr. Specialist, Work Authorization
About The Position
This position supports Amazon's Work Authorization service, providing daily subject matter expertise, customer support and process improvements in the the US) for our Corporate lines of business. The role is responsible for operating against and improving standard operating procedures and meeting relevant customer metrics. These include but are not limited to project intake resolution and customer query SLAs, continuous new hire compliance defect reduction and an improved employee experience. About the team This role can be based out of Arlington, VA only.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
Nice To Haves
- Experience in conducting investigative work, including claimant, witness, and target employee interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation
- Experience developing policies and supporting documentation
- Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security or personnel issues in the workplace
Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert for candidates, employees and business partners in the USA and respond to customer queries within SLA.
- Create and improve standard operating procedures.
- Manage new work customer intakes from various business stakeholders.
- Operate and improve standard operating procedures to deliver new hire compliance defect reduction.
- Operate and improve standard procedures to deliver an improved employee experience.
