About The Position

The Talent Management Optimization Specialist provides leadership and partnership for talent management strategies, processes, and programs across the Toro Company (TTC) globally. This leader serves as a key member of the talent COE in creating and maintaining initiatives that optimize our people through effective talent strategies and actions that strengthen impact and success. They build and leverage strong partnerships within the HR organization and with business leadership across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Talent, Learning, OD, or HR function

Nice To Haves

  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful talent management programs.
  • Ability to understand, speak and communicate in Spanish fluently

Responsibilities

  • Influences the creation and implementation of impactful talent management strategies that drive business success.
  • Serves as a strategic partner to HR Business Partners within assigned business units proactively diagnosing organizational, talent, and cultural needs providing subject matter expertise and solutions using organization development tools and methodology.
  • Works with HR business partners and business leaders to drive talent management actions including but not limited to talent assessment and planning, succession planning, skills gap analysis and solutioning.
  • Collaborates with the manager of talent management and broader talent COE in continually evolving TTC talent management practices to fit business needs.
  • Oversees and enhances talent processes including performance management, career mapping, and talent planning.
  • Owns project management, tool development, training, resource creation, and communication supporting talent processes and projects.
  • Leverages the people health dashboard to enable data-based client consultation as well as informed talent management decision-making.
  • Plays a key role in continually evolving people health dashboard by consulting the manager of talent management on client and COE needs.
  • Partners with peers across the talent COE to ensure alignment of priorities and initiatives that they drive.
  • Employs a global and inclusive mindset to shape people practices, fostering inclusion within the organization.
  • Keeps abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent management and development.
  • Assumes other assigned duties, including involvement in enterprise-wide initiatives and projects.
