The Sr. Specialist, Systems Engineer will be responsible for supporting the requirements, design, development, test, and integration of complex, specialized hardware and software systems installed on ground and airborne ISR and communication platforms. Essential Functions: Design and develop physical architectures incorporating voice, video, and data capability across multiple security domains. Design, integrate, and test, wideband and narrowband communication and datalinks. Translate customer requests into system level requirements. Perform systems engineering trade studies. Evaluate trade studies for accuracy and completeness. Write subsystem specifications based on system level requirements. Evaluate alternative solutions and establish preliminary system design. Review and evaluate electrical wiring diagrams to ensure design details trace to system requirements. Develop and execute network test procedures ensuring system performance and capabilities meet system requirements. Prepare effective presentations to communicate technical network information to non-technical professionals. Developing, authoring, and implementing software and system test plans in a team environment. Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills. Working with subcontractors and US Government customers. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Hands-on experience with testing, integrating, and verifying hardware and/or software. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance. Support project bidding and proposal activities.
