About The Position

The Digital Sr. Specialist of Search & Social at AMS has a strong focus in Paid Search Marketing along with a willingness to train and build expertise across social platforms. This role will actively manage SEM campaigns and be responsible for overall client success. A successful Sr. Specialist will effectively manage the media budget, create strategy proposals and work with the biddable team in order to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and scale accounts. The ideal candidate will excel at keyword research, data analysis, ad copywriting, campaign management, landing page optimization, display a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, analytical thinking, communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to platform updates. Responsibilities include owning certain client relationships, guiding businesses in the SEM and Paid Social Media landscape, ad campaign strategy and setup, QA, troubleshooting, campaign optimizations, data analytics, discrepancy reporting, and more. This individual will manage the process and workflow to achieve set campaign and business goals. The ideal candidate is highly strategic, able to balance high urgency clients, demonstrate strong excel skills; analyze data, extract insights and trends to drive client business forward. Most importantly, the Sr. Specialist is motivated and has the desire to contribute to the positive development of new and existing client portfolio through strategic thought leadership, including development and implementation of sophisticated cross tactic strategies as well as testing and learning scenarios. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • 3+ years of related experience in a Paid Search role, required.
  • In-depth understanding of campaign success metrics.
  • Proficiency in the following platforms required: Google, Bing.
  • Expertise with SEM research tools such as SEMRUSH.
  • Understanding retail media platforms.
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Experience with UTM builds and implementation required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Superb client communication and ability to present information to groups.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate process oriented nature, and smoothly adapt to a multi-tasking environment.
  • Exhibit an internal drive for excellence, knowledge and learning new skills, a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge utilizing third party ad serving platforms (E.G. DoubleVerify).
  • Experience with website tracking and analytics tools (ie: Google Analytics, Omniture, Adobe Analytics, Shopify), Google Tag Manager, Floodlight Tracking.
  • Experience in utilizing audience and competitor research and analytics platforms (E.G., Resonate, Telmar/MRI, Pathmatics).
  • Experience working on a variety of budgets in Paid Social & Search accounts a strong plus ($50K- $1M+).
  • Familiarity with paid social media strategies and activation are a strong plus.
  • Agency or marketing experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Take day-to-day ownership of assigned accounts including client, agency and vendor communication as well as campaign budgeting, strategy, creation and optimization.
  • Effectively demonstrate hands-on campaign execution.
  • Demonstrate proven SEM expertise across Google, Bing and retail channels.
  • Exhibit willingness and high acumen to learn Paid Social and excel at managing campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest.
  • Act as subject matter expert in performance marketing KPIs, brand building, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
  • Display strong understanding of client goals and performance to develop successful strategies to exceed campaign expectations.
  • Accurately launch, manage, and execute campaigns in Bid Management platforms, ensuring targeting, tracking and copy, and support client objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with counterparts across Data and Analytics, Media Buying Operations, Media Partnerships, and Digital Integration departments to ensure a unified approach to client success.
  • Organize data into actionable insights and learnings.
  • Provide bulletproof recommendations that factor in campaign goals, historical performance, benchmarks, as well as potential issues.
