About The Position

The Space Systems Sector of L3Harris Technologies Space and Airborne Systems segment has an opening for a Program Financial Analyst to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. This position performs forecasting and analyses related to programs including profitability, cash flow and quarterly EACs. Responsibility also includes development and distribution of all financial reports to stakeholders for their programs. The successful candidate is expected to understand internal customer requirements and provide useful, timely data to assist in the reporting and decision-making process. This individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Active U.S. Government TS/SCI Security Clearance

  • Years of experience in EVM, financial performance reporting, internal/customer reporting
  • Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people of all levels within the organization.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the financial plan for assigned programs, including performing earned-value analysis and preparing customer reports.
  • Collaborate with Program Management, FP&A, Accounting, functional support departments, and customers as the primary source of all financial information for all assigned programs.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts for Orders, Sales, Operating Income, Cash Flow, and Working Capital
  • Serve as the financial expert for programs, alerting management to potential issues, identifying risks, and proposing solutions
  • Prepare accurate and complete variance analyses with explanations and corrective actions.
  • Provide financial analysis for audits and other ad hoc financial activities.
  • Ability to work with multiple contract types
