The Sr. Specialist, Product Training position will be responsible for working with subject matter experts to develop/deliver technical training for airborne and ground-based systems. This position requires attention to detail and follow-up on all delegated assignments.

  • Works under general supervision and may be responsible for entire programs.
  • Responsible for making minor changes in processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of approaches and routines being utilized.
  • Partners with engineering teams, relevant team members, and customer representatives to define the priorities for curriculum/courseware development and to coordinate completion with product release dates.
  • Develop/deliver training presentations and lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements and vendor spec sheets.
  • Create course materials that ensure participants have a solid understanding of the systems, and the skills needed to operate or maintain their systems in their day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Must be able to deliver course materials in a formal classroom setting, trainer/simulator environment, or on aircraft.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers.
  • Training development and delivery in a technical environment.
  • Gathering and utilizing metrics to improve program performance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop and deliver complex topics.
  • Experience in the development of computer-based training.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with six (6) years of prior aircraft and/or formal U.S. military instructional (TRADOC, AFTC) experience.
  • Graduate Degree with four (4) years of prior aircraft and/or formal U.S. military instructional (TRADOC, AFTC) experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior aircraft and/or formal U.S. military instructional (TRADOC, AFTC) experience.
  • Must have an active Secret DoD clearance at the time of hire with the ability to obtain a Top Secret with SCI.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Adobe FrameMaker experience.
  • Maintainer on Gulfstream G550 and/or Boeing 747, 757, or 787 or on one or more military DV Airlift, or related platforms.
