Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited degree program in Construction Management, Business Administration or related field, and minimum of 8 years of preconstruction or construction experience required, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Thorough understanding of drawings and specifications, general contract and subcontract documents.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and engineering principles and techniques, and accounting principles.
  • Advanced project management skills, able to manage high volumes of work and ability to move projects forward in a complex environment in a timely manner.
  • Pursues work with ingenuity, energy, drive, and sees initiatives through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with architecture, preconstruction, and construction team members to build project plans for all projects within the retail operations ecosystem.
  • Assist project management teams with document control and general project administration tasks include drawing/file management, contract organization, schedule creation/updates, internal reporting documents, cost reporting, internal budget updates.
  • Prepare and process project contracts, purchase orders, change orders. Work with purchasing, finance, accounting, and legal teams as needed to onboard new vendors into the purchasing system.
  • Assist with budget creation and tracking, verify vendor invoices, process payments with accounting, produce project cost reports.
  • Assist project management teams with coordination of project meetings and follow-up items.
  • Assist project management teams with organization and maintenance of project schedules.
  • Work with Scout PMO on project task tracking for items requiring completion within the Scout organization (coordination with IT, EHS, Insurance, Operations, AfterSales, etc).
  • Complete final project documentation, including close-out documents, warranties, operations manuals, maintenance agreements, occupancy documents, final cost reports. Work with Facilities Management team to ensure smooth handover of sites to Operations and FM team members.
