As a Sr. Specialist Member of Technical Staff, you will have a front row seat to technologies that enable state-of-the-art Mobility platforms, at the cutting-edge of 5G SA technology. What you'll do: Managing DNS configurations and operations, including provisioning, updating, and troubleshooting DNS records to ensure reliable domain resolution for applications and services. Administering and maintaining the Online Charging System (OCS), including configuration, integration with billing and network elements, monitoring real-time charging processes, and troubleshooting issues to ensure accurate and timely charging for services. Developing and maintaining CI/CD processes for SaaS applications utilizing tools like Git, Docker, jFrog, etc. Implementing and maintaining the infrastructure on Azure via scripts and tools such as Terraform. Containerization and orchestration of services using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible. Designing and developing automation templates/tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and change management. Collaborating with development and production teams to identify and fix scalability and performance issues. Ensuring and improving system efficiency, consistency, and performance by using data analytics. Monitoring systems, services, and infrastructure to identify issues before they cause outages.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role.
  • Hands-on experience with DNS management, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of DNS records (A, AAAA, SVR, NAPTR.) for reliable application and service delivery.
  • Expertise in code deployment tools like Git, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, jFrog.
  • Working knowledge of databases, like MySQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB.
  • Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python.
  • Working knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Sound understanding of system and application monitoring, performance tuning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math). Inclusive of degrees meeting federal STEM classification codes.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, routing, and security.
  • Working knowledge of Linux OS
  • Strong grasp of containerization, virtualization, and automation tools.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages: bash, Python
