Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in communication, copywriting, social media, marketing, media, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in social media tools, platforms, and strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills; Executive communications.
  • Proficiency in executing communication plans; strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across digital and print formats.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across divisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to deliver high-quality work independently and under tight deadlines.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in marketing or communications.
  • 3-5 years airline or cargo industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the communication efforts and social media program for United Cargo.
  • Serve as the primary copywriter and content creator for United Cargo.
  • Develop content for leadership presentations, industry interview responses, Cargo and customer newsletters, website updates, and all-staff meeting materials.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholder departments to craft executive messaging and thought leadership content.
  • Manage United Cargo's social media presence to increase brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Develop and manage long-term content plans in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Communications.
  • Track and report on performance metrics monthly to assess progress and optimize future initiatives.
  • Develop and execute an annual media plan to promote United Cargo across key trade and industry channels.
  • Act as a liaison between Cargo Marketing and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on messaging and initiatives.
  • Produce monthly reports measuring the effectiveness and reach of marketing campaigns and key communications initiatives.
