We are currently seeking CNC Programming and Vericut Engineer to join our NC programming team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of experience using Vericut software.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally, and in writing and operate effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with NC programming preferably NX and Master-Cam.
  • Demonstrated organizational discipline, adhering to rigorous revision control requirements.
  • Experience with Lathe, Mill-turn, and 3 thru 5 axis Mill programming.
  • Expertise in Lathe, Mill-turn, and 3 thru 5 axis Mill programming of high temp alloy materials.
  • Post processor experience with ICAM.
  • Machine controllers (Fanuc / Siemens).
  • Probing exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Use VERICUT 3D solids-based software to simulate the material removal process of an NC program.
  • Depict multi-axis milling/drilling as well as multi-axis turning and combination mill/turn machining issues.
  • Work seamlessly with the NC programmers to discuss issues found during the Vericut projects to ensure the accuracy and quality of the NC program before it gets released to the floor.
  • Create new Vericut Machine-Control Configurations for new machine tools that are brought into the factory.
  • Modify and maintain Vericut Machine-Control Configurations when issues arise or changes need to be made.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and cross training activity within the NC programming group.
  • Work on corrective action teams to support root cause analysis investigations.
