About The Position

Responsible for managing and maintaining the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions including Oracle Agile PLM and PTC Windchill to ensure their optimal performance and availability. This role involves installing, configuring, and upgrading the PLM solution software, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any system issues that arise. The administrator also monitors solution performance, implements security measures, and ensures data integrity and backup procedures are in place. Additionally, they collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the PLM solutions continue to provide required business capabilities. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role to ensure the PLM solution meets the organization's needs and operates efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years prior Palantir experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior Palantir experience. In lieu of degree, minimum 10 years of prior Palantir experience.
• Requires current CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Requires active TS/SCI with poly clearance.
• 4 years’ experience with Linux system administration or similar.
• 4 years’ experience with Web/Application Server Management.
• 2 years’ experience with Oracle Agile PLM and PTC Windchill.
• 1 year experience with Database Management.
• 1 year experience with Networking.
• 1 year experience with Security.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience using Backup and Recovery methods.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for Linux servers, Oracle Agile PLM software, PTC Windchill software, Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, and Hypervisors such as VMWare ESXI.
• Experience with tools and scripts for automating backup processes.
• 1 year experience performing Integration and Customization activities.
• Understanding of PLM software APIs and integration points.
• Basic and Working Knowledge of Oracle Java.
• Custom Code Deployment and Configuration Java (JARs and WARs).
• Custom Code Deployment and Configuration Oracle Database (Schema and PL/SQL).
• Managing and Administering REST API endpoints.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production and non-production PLM Solution environments, including upgrades.
• Install, configure, and upgrade PLM solution software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Monitor solution performance and implement security measures.
• Ensure data integrity and backup procedures are in place.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure PLM solutions meet business capabilities.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Use basic project management skills to handle PLM-related projects and tasks.
• Coordinate PLM Solution testing efforts.
• Coordinate planned and unplanned system outages.
