Our commitment to pay range transparency fosters an equitable workplace, where everyone can feel valued. The annual compensation range for this position is stated below. The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range: $85,100.00 - $127,700.00 Purpose Statement: Supply Chain Solutions - Sourcing: Responsible for negotiating lowest total cost of ownership, terms for assigned commodities. Support sites in achieving customer satisfaction with associated cost, quality, delivery, and working capital.

Requirements

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
Procurement, supply chain, distribution, and logistics competence
Strong experience driving KPIs
Demonstrated commodity management expertise
Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization
Strong data analysis and decision-making capabilities
Continuous improvement mindset
Project management experience

Responsibilities

Obtain clear, detailed understanding of proposal strategy and communicate with the Commodity Team.
Manage quotation requests with appropriate suppliers to ensure industry competitive component pricing within the requested time frame.
Understand the marketplace and maintain knowledge of the key suppliers and manufacturers.
Participate in Proposal Review to address any materials related questions and/or concerns.
Present professional approach to suppliers as required during the quotation process.
Establish and maintain relationships with key manufacturers and matrix suppliers to ensure Plexus Corporation receives registered and/or contracted pricing for all applicable components.
