About The Position
One of the most ambitious missions that SpaceX has undertaken to date, the Starlink constellation is our solution to providing reliable internet to the entire world. The Starlink Supply Chain Department is looking for a Sr. Sourcing Specialist to support Starlink Ground Network team to grow Starlink into one of the biggest Internet Services Provider (ISPs) in the world. In this role you will be tasked with sourcing, negotiating and contracting with ISPs, Data Center providers, IXs, etc to stand up Starlink Points of Presence ('PoPs') in existing and new countries of operation. This role requires a candidate who demonstrates total ownership of their respective territories, can manage multiple international vendors from different cultures effectively, can meet strict deadlines, is flexible to adjust per the engineering team needs and is a creative problem solver. The functions within the department include sourcing new suppliers, planning and strategy for each country with a Starlink PoP, supplier development and quality, negotiation of supplier contracts and pricing, and developing strategy for each category.
