Come be the change! We are looking for a Sr Sourcing Manager Indirect Operations. This position is located in Clarksville, TN and reports to the Director Indirect Procurement Operations. The role does not have any direct reports and requires 10% travel. The core relationships include key stakeholders and partners across all levels within Reynolds American, the entire Reynolds American Procurement organization, and counterparts with Global BAT, as well as external vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Science, Engineering or Business Management, or related field and 5 - 7 years of experience Or Post Graduate Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related field and 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience Or 9+ years of work experience.
  • Proven experience with manufacturing, logistics and warehouse services procurement leading sourcing initiatives for transportation, warehouse services, intermodal transportation, etc.
  • Proficiency with SAP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Acts as an adaptive innovator, embracing change and learning quickly, adapts quickly to evolving situations, embraces new ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the execution of Sourcing Process within the framework of the approved category strategy.
  • Develop and implement sourcing and negotiation strategies for key spend areas to enable the achievement of business objectives through the identification of the best commercial partners/suppliers.
  • Analyse quotations as well as RFP results for accuracy, completion, contract compliance and make sourcing recommendations.
  • Perform spend analytics, cost/scenario analysis and total cost of ownership benchmarking.
  • Identify spend optimization opportunities to achieve short and long-term savings targets for the categories in scope.
  • Develop and maintain strong contingency plans to ensure security of supply for materials or services in scope in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Global Procurement to provide inputs in the definition of the global strategies for the categories in scope, as well as to support the deployment of such strategies in the US Market.
  • Develop and execute Supplier Relationship Plans for Strategic and Preferred suppliers to improve performance, cost competitiveness, bring business relevant innovation, drive for ESG KPIs attainment and business risks mitigation.
