About The Position
The Indirect Procurement Sourcing Sr. Analyst at Carter's Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the sourcing and procurement of indirect goods and services. This includes a wide range of categories such as IT services, marketing, store operations supplies, and professional services. The position is centered around analyzing market trends and managing vendor relationships to drive cost savings initiatives while ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in a timely manner. The role is based in the Buckhead office and operates within a hybrid work environment, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements. In this position, the analyst will lead strategic sourcing efforts, which encompass the identification and evaluation of vendors that align with the company's quality, cost, and delivery requirements. This involves organizing the identification, analysis, translation, and documentation of business and user requirements to ensure that the solutions provided meet user needs effectively. The analyst will partner closely with the Strategic Sourcing Manager and Sr. Manager to develop negotiation strategies for pricing, terms, and conditions of agreements with vendors, ensuring that all contracts serve the best interests of Carter's. Vendor management is another key responsibility, where the analyst will coordinate with stakeholders on various vendor management activities, including onboarding, renewal, and termination processes. They will orchestrate vendor risk assessments and lead the identification of cost savings or value creation opportunities within existing vendor relationships. Additionally, the analyst will engage in category management by leading market or industry trend analysis to uncover potential savings opportunities and strategizing with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on procurement strategies and initiatives. Participation in ESG initiatives, including Supplier Diversity and Sustainability, is also a significant aspect of this role.
