About The Position
Stanford Health Care Imaging Services is committed to providing outstanding care, utilizing state-of-the-art technology, and offering the subspecialty expertise of Stanford's world-renowned Department of Radiology. Our team of medical professionals maintains the highest standards of clinical excellence provided in a compassionate, caring environment. Under the supervision of the supervisor/manager and a physician in the department, the position involves conducting sonographic procedures on assigned patients of all ages through the use of ultrasound diagnostic equipment. The role includes performing vascular studies, echocardiographic procedures, and participating in the training of residents and ultrasound students. The position requires a high degree of judgment and skill in the use of sonographic equipment, ensuring that equipment is functional and maintained for immediate use, and maintaining records and reports on equipment, procedures performed, and billing.
