About The Position

What are we looking for? We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our Field Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling a best of breed Identity and lateral movement detection and prevention solution. To be successful as a sales engineer, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of technical products and services and be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. You should be driven to achieve your sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills. What will you do? Work with sales partner(s) to develop territory and account strategies and campaigns Understand customer requirements as they relate to security architectures across data center, cloud, and enterprise environments Track and document aspects of the sales cycle including elements that are the primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer Lead Proof of concept/value engagements Prepare and lead technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work. Secure orders, guarantee product standards and assure product delivery. Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective. Active participant within the greater technical team sharing experience, best practices, etc. What skills and knowledge should you bring? Bachelor in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience in real-world cyber security sales and/or consulting. 7+ years of experience in the computer networking or security space, ideally in a pre-sales role. Broad understanding of security solutions and technologies. Ability to explain and demonstrate complex product/security solutions both technically and with senior leadership. Superior communication skills including whiteboarding, public speaking and technical writing. Operational or sales experiences with SaaS, Identity or Active Directory a plus. Ability to travel domestically up to 40% of the time with occasional spikes above 50%. Why us? Requirements
