About The Position

As a Sr Solutions Engineer, you will lead the technical elements of the sales process, leveraging your deep technical expertise and customer-facing skills to drive successful business outcomes. This role requires advanced problem-solving capabilities, extensive product knowledge, and the ability to mentor and guide other team members while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will play a pivotal role in navigating complex technical requirements, ensuring customer success, and establishing best practices for both internal teams and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (Information Systems) or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a pre-sales, support and/or implementation engineer in Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Security Applications, and/or Enterprise Security Applications such as ITDR, SIEM, CIEM, etc.
  • 7+ years of experience working for global software vendors
  • Ability to highlight product differentiators against competitors.
  • Prior experience presenting enterprise security products at trade shows and security conferences.
  • Prior documentation or project management experience in deploying enterprise software solutions.
  • Significant experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Mac, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, Databases, and Network Devices
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Working knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, and SkyTap virtual environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications: CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CEH
  • Building, supporting, and selling security solutions experience preferred.
  • Experience with BeyondTrust products.
  • API and Webhook Scripting

Responsibilities

  • Deliver solution presentations, demonstrations, and recommendations to prospects and customers.
  • Develop technical relationships with existing customers through Quarterly Technical Reviews.
  • Assist in response to Request for Proposals/Information.
  • Represent BeyondTrust at Trade Shows, Seminars, and other Company Events.
  • Use common Sales & Marketing applications such as Salesforce, Confluence, Skytap, etc.
  • Document the customer's technical requirements and build Proof-of-Concept (POC) documentation to track and address customer priorities and objectives.
  • Provide support for BeyondTrust Partners.
  • Continue to develop both the BeyondTrust product and industry knowledge.
  • Train and mentor other Solutions Engineers.
