About The Position

Within the team, the Senior Solution Architect will be responsible for connecting our solution strategy to market success by transforming market solutions into tangible, demonstrable client and user facing experiences. This includes supporting sales readiness and scalability through the development of solution demonstrations, supporting materials, and training sessions for client-facing teams. The role also involves partnering with client-facing teams on strategic sales pursuits to develop tailored solutions for customers' particular needs, and sharing market learnings with the broader market solutions team to inform the solution strategy and development process.

Requirements

  • Experience with product and technology demonstrations.
  • Experience working with vendor product and development teams on behalf of customers.
  • Ability to understand how solutioning decisions impact product roadmaps and development timelines.
  • Experience with complex healthcare IT integrations, web applications, and SaaS configuration.
  • Extensive understanding of the healthcare industry including cost drivers and value opportunities.
  • Working technical knowledge of full-stack cloud environments, agile, data lakes, and data warehouses.
  • Ability to work and collaborate across teams without management direction.
  • Ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches to solving problems.
  • Master's degree required, or bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work proactively with internal teammates and external clients.
  • Excellent communication (oral/written/presentation) skills.

Responsibilities

  • Mastering the ways that MCP's products, service offerings, and partners can be brought together to address customer needs.
  • Becoming a subject matter expert in the markets served by cultivating a detailed knowledge of relevant market trends, economic drivers, and the competitive landscape.
  • Helping refine market solutions based on knowledge of MCP's offerings and strategic landscape, as well as feedback collected in-market through strategic sales support.
  • Identifying and helping prioritize product roadmap requirements based on market knowledge.
  • Developing compelling demonstrations of generic market solutions spanning the entire MCP portfolio, as well as necessary supporting materials for client-facing teams.
  • Training client-facing teams on demos of generic market solutions.
  • Partnering with solution managers and delivery teams to review generic and client-specific market solutions to identify potential pitfalls or limitations.
  • Documenting solution technical requirements based on delivery team feedback and knowledge of customer needs.
  • Providing strategic support and guidance to sales representatives and account relationship managers on deal-specific solution strategy.
  • Leading preparation and development of deal-specific demonstrations for high priority deals.
  • Consulting with prospective customers to identify business problems, technical requirements, objectives, and priorities relevant to software solutions.
  • Identifying implementation requirements with respect to data, platform configuration, and engagement.
