The Prime Video Advertising team is at the forefront of revolutionizing the streaming advertising landscape. Our mission is to deliver ad tech solutions that power Prime Video's rapidly growing advertising business. We focus on a wide range of critical areas including ad ingestion, ad delivery, client-side ad experiences, machine learning-driven optimization, ad tracking, and audience measurement. We’re responsible for advertising across video-on-demand (VOD), live streaming, and display ads on Prime Video, delivering value to both advertisers and viewers worldwide. As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. You’ll get to work on projects that are fast-paced, challenging, and varied. You'll have the unique opportunity to shape the technical vision for Prime Video Advertising across multiple organizations and domains. Requirements

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
  • 5+ years experience in video advertising tech domain
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
  • Experience working with end user or developer communities
  • 2+ years experience partnering with leading video streaming partners in the industry

Responsibilities

  • Help our channels partners (ex: Paramount+, Peacock, Fox) successfully plan and execute their advertising experiences on Prime Video.
  • Solve complex, technical challenges so your customers can focus on their business.
  • Craft scalable, flexible, and resilient advertising architectures.
  • Drive or take part in technical solutions discussions, diving deep into the details with customer teams.
  • Build relationships to understand our customers and partners.
  • Influence a variety of stakeholders from technical teams to executives across Prime Video, Amazon Ads and our channels partners.
  • Help ensure our technology decisions are aligned with their long-term goals.
  • Act as thought leader in the wider community. This includes taking part in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and running workshops.
  • Shape the direction of our products and services through gathering feedback from customers whilst collaborating with our engineering and business teams.
  • Meet channels partners , and you will collaborate with them on designing and operating well-architected solutions.
  • Earn their trust and show them the art of the possible, educating them around the capabilities of Prime Video advertising.
  • Partner with internal teams and experts, leveraging a deep knowledge of our tools and products, you’ll craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient architectures that address our customers’ business problems.
