About The Position

As a Sr. Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data architecture and platforms to support our business intelligence and analytics initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identify data needs, and develop scalable solutions to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and security. You’ll also work with our visualization team to bring to life data through multiple visualization tools such as power BI. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 10 years of experience in Databases, data architecture design, platform integration, and data analysis; or Master’s degree in computer science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and a minimum 7 years of experience in Databases, data architecture design and data analysis.
  • Proficient with programming languages such as Java Script, Python, SQL, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of data modeling, database optimization, database design, query optimization and data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend), and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience in cloud services such as AWS RDS, Lambda, step functions, glue, Azure etc.…Can demonstrate ability through sample.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to support the Central Time Zone (standard day hours)
  • Understanding of business functionality and concepts in a finance, sales, and operations from a data perspective

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end architecture design of complex solutions spanning databases, application platforms, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Create data models to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across different systems and platforms.
  • Define logical and physical database architectures, including data models, schemas, indexing strategies, and storage patterns.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain data quality and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand business requirements and develop data solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on data architecture best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Translate business needs into technical designs and clearly communicate architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drive consistency and reuse across platforms while allowing for pragmatic flexibility.
  • Collaborate on CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and automation strategies to support scalable deployments.
