Job Summary Develop and execute automated tests to support software engineering in verification and validation of the company’s embedded products.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university or technical college in Electronics or related field OR a combination of education and relevant experience (including military training).
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience working in technical functions that support Engineering.
  • Experience with creating software to run automated testing.
  • Ability to read and follow electronic schematics.
  • Experience working and interfacing with electronic lab equipment including Power Supplies, Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes, various Analyzers and Signal Generators.
  • Ability to write and follow test procedures to run bench level and system level testing.
  • Proficiency in software programming languages, especially Python and C/C++.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain US security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with acoustic and RF testing a plus.
  • Generate PWB breadboards, make circuit card modifications is a plus.
  • C# is a plus
  • Proficiency with Jira and Jama is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze system’s requirements and translate them to software requirements and test cases.
  • Write and execute test programs to verify software requirements as well as collecting data and recording results.
  • Setup and maintain lab equipment to support software testing.
  • Participate in product failure analysis activities and/or root cause analysis of defects and/or field returns, corrective and preventive actions, compile failure analysis reports, and other related assignments.
  • Support and assist engineers in the performance of technical assignments, routine engineering tasks, build and test or inspection of prototype systems, assemblies or PWBs under the guidance of engineers.
  • May test or inspect electrical or mechanical assemblies, or engineering tooling and document results.
  • Collect, compile, and report data and information under engineer direction.
