A Day in the Life Day in the Life • Tests the functionality and performance of medical device software systems and software applications. • Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in medical device software systems and software applications. • Develop automation scripts using tools such as Python and other scripting languages • Support the development of System and Software Requirements • Create test plans, test protocols, and test reports used for regulatory submissions. • Execute test protocols for medical devices software systems • Ensures medical device software systems and software applications meet technical and functional requirements. • Performs workflow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements. • Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models. • Reviews test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies. • Conduct tool validation activities • Manages completion of own work assignments and coordinates work with others • Additional duties as assigned Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
