The Sr. Software Engineer plans and develops specialized applications software.   • Plan and develop specialized applications software.
  • Develop software applications using Java (Spring Boot) in an Agile environment.
  • Design and create well-defined Restful APIs with API proxies on platforms such as AWS API Gateway.
  • Develop software applications using relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Deploy software using CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, AWS, GitBucket CI/CD, and DevOps.
  • Work with NodeJS in microservices and Lambdas.
  • Communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Mentor offshore/nearshore development teams.
  • Adjust working hours to collaborate effectively with offshore and nearshore teams.
  • At least 6+ years of software development experience in Java (Spring Boot) in an Agile environment.
  • Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms.
  • Passion for technology and eagerness to learn.
  • Experience with software development in NextJS, ReactJS, or Vue JS.
  • Experience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap, Materialize, or Tailwind.
  • Experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, AWS SNS, Apache ActiveMQ, or Kinesis.
  • Experience with data stores such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL, or Oracle.
  • Demonstrated leadership on small to medium-scale projects.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Cucumber.
  • Mobile development experience with React Native, Flutter, or Kotlin Native apps.
  • Experience building GraphQL or gRPC APIs.
  • Python development experience.
  • Experience with batch or stream processing systems such as Apache Spark.
