Requirements

BS in Engineering – Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or BS in Computer Science.
2+ years of experience in embedded controls software.
Proficient in C and Python programming languages.
Expertise in troubleshooting field issues.
Familiarity with AI solutions and applications.
High integrity, self-directed, and able to handle ambiguity.
Demonstrated innovative thinking focused on customer needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality software and product-ready AI solutions for embedded controls systems in the electrification space.
Ensure compliance with safety requirements, government regulations, and internal policies.
Adhere to software design principles and understand supervisory controls architecture.
Design and develop Physics and Controls requirements for mechatronic controls.
Leverage AI to enhance productivity and deliver innovative solutions.
Maintain understanding of automotive communication protocols such as Ethernet, CAN, and LIN.
Test and validate software functionality to ensure hardware agnostic solutions.
Document design solutions and link them to test cases for traceability.
Utilize automated test tools to verify functionality at various levels.
Implement BDD/TDD methodologies to promote Software Built In Quality.
Familiarize with Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Utilize CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
