The Role: As a Sr. Software Engineer, you are in an experienced position within the software engineering field. In this rol,e you will play a significant part in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and contribute to the overall success of software projects. Security Clearance Required Due to federal contract requirements, applicants must be U.S. persons and eligible for a U/S. security clearance
Requirements
- US Citizenship - requirements of our US Government customers
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Software Engineering environment
- Strong proficiency in software development concepts and coding.
- Subject matter expert in at least one programming language.
- Experience with Typescript/JavaScript/React/Redux
- Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to project planning.
- Commitment to maintaining code quality and adhering to best practices.
- Ability to develop both front-end and back-end software components according to design documents.

Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to gather functional and non-functional requirements and create software representations.
- Adhere to coding standards and best practices while actively mentoring junior engineers.
- Develop both front-end and back-end software components according to design documents.
- Actively participate in team meetings, project planning, and decision-making.
- Assist in the writing of software development considerations for project proposals.
- Contribute to the development of comprehensive product specifications and system integration plans.
- Conduct code reviews and analysis to maintain high-quality code.
- Manage and maintain development environments with increasing technologies known, including cloud and local setups.
