Who are we? We are Amazon Ad eXchange (AAX) responsible for ingesting a massive amount of ad opportunities from across the internet and across the globe in a highly efficient and privacy-centric manner, to drive the highest ROI for our advertiser customers. AAX is a geographically distributed, low latency (<100ms) high volume (millions of transactions per second) system. We work closely with our partner and industry standards groups to understand how we can make advertising more effective for all players (publishers, advertisers, consumers). We seek to leverage industry standards (OpenRTB, VAST, Native, etc) when suitable, and define new standards when appropriate to help the ad tech industry evolve and improve. Who are you? You are a strong Senior Software Development Engineer who is passionate about performance and efficiency in a real time system. You have demonstrable experience in diving deep into performance critical systems where every single millisecond of latency matters. You have broad experience in Ad Tech systems and bring you understanding of the Ads ecosystem to hit the road running on day one.
