About The Position

Visa U.S.A. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Software Engineer (multiple openings) in Austin, Texas to Architects, designs, builds, develops, tests, and/or implements software applications. Conducts business and technical analysis, code reviews, and unit testing. Implements, and produces technical documentation of solutions for new development, system enhancements, and production support. Designs, develops, and implements modifications and corrections to existing software, including the development of debugging routines. Performs regular check-ins to continuous integration of systems and/or software applications. Participates in cross-functional teams and works with architects, systems analysts, project managers, QA and other developers to implement business requirements while applying the latest available tools and technology. Works under direct supervision to ensure on-time delivery of projects, production support plans, and knowledge transfer for long-term supportability of upgrades, enhancements, and deployments. Position reports to the Austin, Texas office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation.
