We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our IP Management team. The IP Management team is responsible for creating and managing the IPs our customers use to send email from our systems. The ideal candidate will be a master of their craft, with a passion for tackling complex challenges and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the software that powers our IP management platform, a critical component of our business. As a senior member of the team, you will also be expected to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development practices.

  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for our IP management platform.
  • Work on services with complex business rules, ensuring that the software is robust, reliable, and meets the needs of the business.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Golang.
  • Refactor and improve legacy systems to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, and other engineering teams, to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Proven experience working on services with complex business rules.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in refactoring legacy systems.
  • A commitment to writing efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Proficiency in writing code in Golang.
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
