Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • 5 years of Gas Turbine Aero Engine Control System design & hardware/software integration experience or 3 years with an advanced degree
  • U.S. Person/Green Card holder

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Xilinx Vitis Unified Development Environment
  • Experience with Texas Instruments Code Composer 3.3 & 7.4
  • Background with National Instruments LabView
  • Experience with model based design (Cameo/SysML)
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink
  • Experienced and comfortable with developing technical presentations
  • Experience with product security for embedded targets

Responsibilities

  • Support the Embedded Software team to meet program deliverables
  • Lead the software development effort for APUs and TJs
  • Present as needed to the Component Integration Product Team Leader (CIPTL)
  • Work with the technical team to resolve software defects and champion root cause investigations
  • Support technical, schedule, cost discussions with the CIPTL
  • Identify key process improvements to increase efficiency
