We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Software Engineer, Integrations, to join our Integrations and Automation team. This role is hybrid and based in our San Jose, CA office three days a week. Reporting to the Manager, Integrations, you will be responsible for: Designing and implementing scalable integration solutions using Workato (priority), APIs, and development expertise with Python while adhering to security and performance standards Partnering with stakeholders in HR, Finance, Payroll, and other domains to gather integration requirements and provide innovative, consultative solutions Owning integration projects end-to-end, collaborating with the Integration Architect and offshore teams, and ensuring the timely delivery of scalable workflows Troubleshooting and optimizing integration workflows to enhance system performance, minimize downtime, and improve user experience Creating and maintaining documentation for integration processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting knowledge transfer

Requirements

7+ years of experience in integration engineering or related domains
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Robust knowledge and operational experience with Workato
Strong proficiency in Python, API protocol standards like HTTP, REST, SOAP, and working with JSON/XML file structures
Experience with architectural patterns such as Queues and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with architectural patterns such as Queues, FIFO, and containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes
Knowledge of Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, and cloud platforms like AWS
Professional experience with Boomi or other integration platforms

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing scalable integration solutions using Workato (priority), APIs, and development expertise with Python while adhering to security and performance standards
