About The Position

FNBO is building the next generation of internal platforms that will power how our teams work—and we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who wants to be part of that journey. This role is ideal for an experienced developer who loves building modern, scalable applications and is excited to grow their skills in emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions. You’ll work across the stack, developing polished user experiences with React and building backend services that support an internal platform designed to evolve alongside new capabilities. You do not need to be an AI expert to succeed here. We’re looking for strong engineers with solid fundamentals, curiosity, and a desire to learn. This is a hybrid, in-person role based in Omaha. About This Role: This role offers hands-on exposure to AI-enabled platforms and emerging technologies—prior AI experience not required. You’ll join a collaborative engineering team focused on innovation, learning, and practical impact. Our work supports real business outcomes inside a stable, well-respected financial institution—giving you the chance to experiment, grow, and build things that matter. We invest in our people, encourage exploration of new technologies, and value thoughtful engineering over hype. If you’re excited about where software development is headed and want hands-on exposure to modern platforms and AI-adjacent work, this is a great place to do it.
