Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions.
  • 2+ years programming experience in languages such as Java, Python, Javascript, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Ruby, etc.

Responsibilities

  • You will design, build, and ship member‑facing iOS features across LinkedIn Learning, LinkedIn, and Talent iOS (Recruiter) apps, ensuring performance, accessibility, and reliability at scale.
  • You will own the full stack for your features: craft elegant native experiences in Swift (SwiftUI/UIKit) and integrate with backend services using GraphQL and gRPC.
  • You will define and evolve data contracts, design service endpoints, and ensure secure, resilient client–server flows.
  • You will collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Design, and platform teams to deliver impactful learning and recruiting experiences quickly and safely.
  • You will raise the bar on quality through thoughtful architecture, automated testing (XCTest/XCUITest), and continuous delivery practices.
  • You will mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives, providing guidance on design decisions, code reviews, and best practices.
  • You will champion accessibility and inclusive design, ensuring features meet or exceed WCAG standards and platform guidelines.
  • You will contribute to platform health by improving modularity, reducing tech debt, and driving reliability metrics (crash‑free sessions, app performance).
  • You will participate in incident response and post‑mortems, helping define preventative guardrails and operational playbooks.

  • The pay range for this role is $125,000 to $206,000.
  • Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
  • The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
