About the team and role: We are the Customer Service Technology (CS Tech) organization at eBay! We are building the next generation of agentic AI systems that empower millions of buyers and sellers worldwide. Our vision is to deliver intelligent, autonomous help experiences that resolve customer issues end-to-end, grounded in policy, connected to eBay’s data, and designed with trust, safety, and human fallback in mind. We are creating a scalable multi-agent platform that combines LLM reasoning, knowledge retrieval, orchestration, backend integrations, workflow automation, and modern engineering practices across a hybrid architecture of Node.js services, Java applications, Muse UI plugins, and Python-based ingestion pipelines.
