The primary purpose of this position is to lead activities relating to designing, building, testing, implementing and maintaining solutions, products and processes. This role will involve working closely with IT teams and business personnel to provide technology solutions that meet business needs, while also coordinating tasks of less experienced engineers and collaborating across teams.

  • Engage with business partners to gather information, analyze requirements and deliver practical, efficient and cost-effective solutions that satisfy business needs.
  • Write product specifications and design documentation for assigned system components.
  • Lead engineering team and provide oversight for less experienced engineers.
  • Stay on top of latest technologies and trends.
  • Using error reports, establish priorities and assign out bugs to relevant team members for resolution.
  • Support development of version control principles and CI/CD pipeline.
  • Design, develop and/or review complex code to ensure solutions meet the requirements of functional and technical specifications.
  • Develop automated Unit tests and/or automated UI tests.
  • Ensure all risks and issues that affect the project are captured and actioned appropriately.
  • Enhance knowledge of and compliance with preferred technologies, methodologies, standards and policies.
  • Provide IT teams and business personnel with technology solutions by weighing advantages of technology trends.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 5 - 8 years of relevant experience or minimum 9-12 years of relevant combination of education and work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead small to medium teams in delivering software solutions.
  • Strong software development capabilities coupled with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology.
  • Strong knowledge of Operating Systems - Windows, Solaris or Linux; or strong knowledge of cloud platforms: Azure, Amazon or Google.
  • Strong understanding of advanced programming concepts, data structure and algorithms.
  • Mastered 2-3 programming languages/frameworks.
  • Well-versed in using database views, stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined data types.
  • Deep and solid knowledge of the main APIs used.
  • Full-stack experience and ability to handle analysis and support activities independently.
  • Proficiency with SAP ISU CS/CRM.
  • In-depth experience in SAP technologies relevant to ISU, including SAP ABAP, SAPUI5, SAP Gateway, and SAP HANA.
  • Experience in integrating SAP ISU with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
  • Prior experience closely working with Business partners on prioritization of demands and enhancements.
  • Experience with Agile software development and test-driven development.
  • Experience in automated testing including unit testing, UI testing and functional testing.
  • Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $103,200.00/Yr. - $141,900.00/Yr.
