Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant professional software engineering experience, not including internships/co-ops.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the modern programming languages: Java, Python, Go.
  • Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and other CNCF technologies.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD technologies and IaC technologies.
  • Proficiency in using observability tools to investigate production issues.
  • Extensive experience managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure such as load balancer, API gateway, ingress controller, rating limiter, etc.
  • Strong background in working with SaaS software platforms at scale.
  • Expertise in cloud governance is strongly preferred.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit: you're agile, creative, resourceful, and tenacious as you solve problems and achieve team and company goals.
  • B.S/M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new CI/CD infrastructure and tools to improve developer workflow and productivity.
  • Design and implement services on Kubernetes to support the Highspot workloads.
  • Design and implement processes to enhance the cloud infrastructure governance and improve access management of cloud resources.
  • Author high-quality runbooks and technical documentation.
  • Join the on-call rotation to handle critical production issues.
