Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Architect and build large-scale distributed systems enabling end-to-end AI-driven learning workflows (e.g., Content Creation Management [CCM], Personalized Learning Experience [PLE], and AI Learning Coach frameworks).
• Lead design and delivery of production-grade services and APIs powering automation, content intelligence, multilingual translation, and workflow assistants across Amazon Operations.
• Implement and optimize AI integrations, leveraging AWS AI services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend, Translate) and custom LLM pipelines for content generation, validation, and personalization.
• Mentor and guide engineers in best practices for system design, code quality, and operational excellence; raise the engineering bar across the team.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with TPMs, Scientists, and Product Leads to translate business strategy into scalable technical solutions that deliver measurable impact.
• Ensure reliability and observability, implementing automation, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines using CloudFormation, and CodePipeline.
• Contribute to long-term architecture vision, influencing build-vs-buy decisions, security posture, and cost optimization strategies for global learning platforms.
