About The Position

In this role, you will be integral to the development and support of vital software applications, particularly in the context of a government eCommerce platform. Your contributions will focus on application support, fostering improvements, and ensuring the stability and security of various integrated systems. Collaboration with a diverse team of developers and analysts is essential to implement effective solutions and enhance user experiences. You'll be responsible for not only coding and testing but also guiding other developers in their projects and initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in software development and support.
Degree from an accredited College/University in a related field or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated ability to perform all functional duties independently.

Nice To Haves

Experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, and Linux servers is a plus.
Familiarity with certificate management and performance testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and update software applications using Java 8 or similar versions.
Conduct web development tasks with technologies including React, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS.
Provide application support with emphasis on database querying, environment deployments, and server health monitoring.
Utilize automated testing tools like Selenium and Playwright to ensure software quality.
Employ Git version control and manage code repositories via GitHub.
Work with Oracle Commerce products and perform necessary updates for security and performance.
Manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline builds and deployments.
Utilize Ansible for configuration management and automation tasks.
