Responsibilities The Sr. Software Developer will provide support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). NSWCPD is a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support organization for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft and unmanned vehicles. This requirement is for NSWCPD Code 104, which is responsible for Information Technology Operations Division of NSWCPD’s Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E), Navy Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI) Network and Business Systems software development and maintenance.

  • Provide support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD).
  • Responsible for Information Technology Operations Division of NSWCPD’s Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E), Navy Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI) Network and Business Systems software development and maintenance.
  • Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent professional certification for years of experience per CSWF certification requirements.
  • Ten (15) years’ experience in development and management of software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
  • IAT Level III certification such as CASP+ CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), CCNP Security, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP.
  • Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active government security clearance.
