About The Position

At Range Group, we believe in the power of the professional travel advisor, representing over $4.5 billion in annual travel sales. Our investments are based on the thesis that travel advisors add real value when equipped with technology and 24/7 support. The Range Foundation also channels 10% of group profits to social impact, investing in exploration grants, education access, new discoveries, cultural infrastructure, and global aid. This role is a Work-from-Home opportunity for applicants outside the commutable range of our Toronto office, and a hybrid position (2-days a week onsite) for local applicants. The role is within TripArc's ADX platform team, which is responsible for enhancing and maintaining the daily booking tool used by thousands of North American travel advisors. While a dedicated team builds the next generation, this pod focuses on making the existing platform faster, more reliable, and more responsive. It's a full-stack development team with a backend lean, offering varied work from untangling payment flows to building service upgrade capabilities and improving feature behavior under load. Developers are expected to investigate problems, propose solutions, scope their own work with Product and QA, and ship code that directly impacts users. The team expects every developer to use AI coding tools as a standard part of development, leveraging them for speed while maintaining quality through gates, code review, and testing discipline.

Requirements

  • 5+ years with C# / .NET Core — you've built production microservices and know how to make them operationally sound
  • SQL Server fluency: complex queries, stored procedures, schema navigation in a system built over the years
  • Angular experience — enough to build and modify advisor-facing components confidently
  • RESTful API design and consumption; Entity Framework or similar ORMs
  • Azure Service Bus or equivalent messaging experience
  • Comfort working in a mature, high-volume platform where correctness is non-negotiable
  • Use AI development tools — Copilot, Claude, etc. — as standard workflow, not novelty

Nice To Haves

  • MongoDB
  • Docker/Kubernetes
  • Azure Pipelines
  • NServiceBus

Responsibilities

  • Advisor-facing feature enhancements across existing ADX — payment workflows, service configuration, quoting, and booking improvements
  • Backend service work: .NET Core microservices, SQL Server queries and stored procedures, Azure Service Bus integrations
  • Frontend contributions: Angular components and workflows within the existing ADX MFE shell
  • Platform reliability and supportability — fixing what's brittle, documenting what's unclear, improving what slows the team down
  • Cross-platform integrations: working across ADX, TSP, and connected services to deliver features that span the stack
  • Sprint-based delivery with direct input on scope and estimates — you'll help define what's buildable, not just execute what's handed to you

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach
  • Opportunity to participate in incentive programs and compensation tied to business and individual performance
  • Employment accommodation in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act
