About The Position

Consilio is seeking a Senior Software Solution Architect to lead architectural initiatives while maintaining active hands-on development responsibilities. This position requires designing scalable solutions for modernizing legacy systems while implementing critical components and guiding development teams through complex technical challenges. You will design and implement scalable, cloud-native solutions, define architectural patterns, and collaborate across teams to ensure delivery excellence. Expect to work on microservice architectures, complex domain models, and Kubernetes-based deployments, while guiding teams through architectural decisions and hands-on technical challenges.

Requirements

Proficient in C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, modern framework features)
Demonstrated experience applying Domain-Driven Design to complex business domains
Working knowledge of Kubernetes for containerized application deployment
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization practices
Proven experience with microservices, RESTful and gRPC APIs, event-driven systems, and integration patterns
10+ years of software development with increasing architectural responsibility
4+ years architecting and implementing complex distributed systems
Demonstrated success in Kubernetes-based deployments and legacy modernization
Track record of managing multiple concurrent projects effectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to challenge assumptions and advocate for simplicity
Effective organizational skills for managing concurrent priorities
Collaborative approach to technical leadership
Clear communication with both technical teams and business stakeholders
Self-directed with autonomous decision-making ability
Full stack experience is Mandatory
Able to write effective unit tests

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end solutions for new capabilities and modernization initiatives
Define system boundaries, data ownership models, and integration strategies using Domain-Driven Design principles
Make strategic decisions on architectural patterns (microservices vs. monolith) based on business and technical requirements
Document technical decisions and design rationale for development teams and executive stakeholders
Evaluate architectural trade-offs between competing approaches and advocate for appropriate solutions
Establish architectural patterns and standards across projects
Develop production-quality code for complex domain logic and critical system components
Conduct pair programming and code reviews to ensure architectural integrity and DDD compliance
Build proof-of-concepts to validate architectural decisions prior to full implementation
Provide technical assistance to unblock teams during complex implementation challenges
Drive progress across multiple concurrent projects
Propose and advocate for technical improvements and new approaches
Develop production-quality code for complex domain logic and critical system components
Facilitate collaboration between development, DevOps, and product teams
Resolve production issues requiring deep architectural insight
