Sr. Software Architect, Siri Attention and Invocation
About The Position
As a Senior Software Architect on the Siri Attention and Invocation team, you will design and implement software systems that enable natural and conversational interaction with virtual assistants using diverse AI/ML technologies including cutting-edge innovations in large language models and conversational AI. You will serve as an individual contributor while demonstrating technical leadership capabilities, leading large cross-functional groups to accomplish complex technical goals. Your role will involve architecting solutions that leverage ML models to define user experiences, require tight integration with sensory software stacks, and demand seamless coordination with low-level system software stacks to enable fluid conversational interactions. You will also drive performance optimizations for on-device runtime systems and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality software and exceptional user experiences that delight millions of users worldwide.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software architecture design and implementation experience
- Proficiency in object oriented programming (e.g. Swift, C++, or Objective-C)
- Experience with machine learning systems architecture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
