About The Position

We're seeking a strategic social content expert with deep YouTube expertise to transform and elevate Ring's digital presence across platforms. This role will be instrumental in reimagining our YouTube strategy, transitioning it from a content repository into a dynamic, engaging channel that builds community and drives brand love. The ideal candidate will bring fresh energy and innovative thinking to set the vision for Ring's YouTube presence, creating compelling narratives that resonate with our audience while driving meaningful engagement and growth. This position requires someone who can carve out new paths and take the lead in creating cohesive social media narratives while spearheading our YouTube growth and engagement initiatives. We're looking for a builder - someone who is excited by the challenge of developing and scaling something new, who can see the potential in our YouTube channel, can see the bigger picture and has the expertise to bring it to fruition. The right candidate will bring both strategic vision and hands-on leadership, working collaboratively across social, creative, influencer, production, CS, PR, and legal teams to create content that not only engages our current audience but attracts new viewers to our brand story. You'll be empowered to experiment, innovate, and establish Ring as a leading voice in our space through compelling YouTube content.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of social media experience with 5+ years focused on YouTube strategy
  • Proven success in multi-platform social content strategy and community growth, especially on YouTube
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and consumer-facing content
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in cross-platform content optimization
  • Excellence in team leadership and stakeholder management
  • Proven content creation and storytelling experience

  • Experience managing major brand social media presence

  • Background in video production and editing
  • Understanding of paid social media strategies

Responsibilities

  • Own YouTube channel strategy, including building a robust YouTube Content Program to support marketing goals
  • Lead the development and execution of bespoke series and channel-specific content across brand initiatives, including development of long & short form content
  • Oversee YouTube content calendar, copy & content optimization
  • Work with social creative team, influencer marketing team, video producers, editors, and graphic designers on UGC and new content narratives
  • Implement SEO best practices to increase content discoverability
  • Develop integrated social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn) that align with and amplify YouTube content
  • Create cross-platform content frameworks that maximize reach and engagement
  • Identify opportunities for social media trend integration and platform-specific innovations
  • Guide social creative team in developing platform-specific content that maintains brand consistency
  • Collaborate with video producers, editors, and graphic designers to create optimized content for all platforms
  • Lead creative briefs for creators, influencers, and strategic partners
  • Lead content testing and optimization across platforms
  • Drive data-informed decision making across social platforms
  • Lead performance tracking, reporting, and analysis across all social channels
  • Identify trends and opportunities for growth across platforms
