About The Position

The Sr. Site Finance Manager will be the main finance business partner to site leadership at two Mars Snacking plants: Gainesville and Albany, GA. This role plays a critical role in delivering superior insights and support to site leadership & the Mars Snacking finance leadership team, driving strategic, financial, and operational insights/strategies. This role will be based in Gainesville (GNV-Flowery Branch) and will travel to Albany, GA (ALB) once per period.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics or a related field required.
• 5+ years in a Finance Business Partner role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a multi-cultural and multi-business environment; ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
• Proven track record of delivering business objectives
• ERP system proficiency (SAP preferred)
• Ability to provide strong partnership and insights to site leadership and finance LT
• Ability to operate independently
• Broad understanding of different areas of the business, key drivers and performance metrics
• Comfort with diving into ambiguous business questions to understand key issues and structure analytical path
• Forward-thinking in anticipating future consequences and trends

Nice To Haves

• MBA is a plus.
• CPG/Food/Beverage experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leadership team co-pilot: Provide the management of systems and processes to produce high quality financial information and to derive critical insights.
• Strategic Finance Partnership: Provide strategic financial insight and partnership to site leadership, enabling informed decisions and driving operational excellence.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Own end-to-end financial planning cycles (annual plan, forecast, period close) Develop a deep understanding and independent perspective of performance drivers Uncover areas within the business to drive performance improvements and value creation, leveraging data and advanced analytics techniques Understand strategic needs of the business, and is able to support decision making through actionable insights Actively participate in the Corporate strategic resource allocation process, facilitating unbiased data-driven discussion to drive better investment priorities
